In light of these events, as well as with advice from Limmud FSU International, our upcoming May 2020 Limmud FSU NY Festival will be postponed. The health and safety of our community have always been and remain our top priority.

Vadim Blumin Historian, Educator and a Social Activist


Currently the director of the Mandel Program for Excellence at the Jewish Agency for Israel, he was formerly a content and training specialist at Makom, the Strategic Content Lab of the Jewish Agency, and headed its education department in St. Petersburg, Russia. Prior to that he was the executive director of 1+1: Association of Immigrant Youth. Alumni of the GVANIM program for pluralism and leadership, as well as the JDC-ELKA Mashmaut training program for directors-general of voluntary organizations. One of the founders of the 1.5 Generation: Russian-speaking Young Adults; a board member of the New Israel Fund and Be Free Israel ('IsraelHofsheet'); and a member of the Content Committee of Limmud-FSU. Vadim lives in Ramat Gan with his husband, Roman, and their daughter, Danielle.
