Alex Selsky CEO of the World Israel Beytenu, Member of the Executive Board at World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency, former adviser to Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Alex was born in Ufa in the Soviet Union (Today Russia), made Aliyah to Israel alone at age of 16 in 1993 by NAALE (Elite Academy) program.
Alex served as an advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, focusing on relations with Russian-speaking Israelis and the Russian-speaking Jewish Diaspora, as well as the Israeli and foreign Russian-language press, as a spokesman of the National Economic Council in Prime Minister’s Office and as a CEO of the World Forum of Russian-speaking Jewry.
Today Mr. Selsky holds the position of the CEO of the World Yisrael Beytenu Movement. He is a member of the Executive of the World Zionist Organization and a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel.
He is well-known as a lecturer at the School of Politics and Journalism at Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem.
Since 2008, as part of his reserve army duty in Israeli Defense Forces, Mr. Selsky has been in charge of emergency information in the Russian language in the Home Front Command.
Mr. Selsky has a BA in Business Administration and finished Executive Master in Public Policy with distinction from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
