Gary Katz is a Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in New York City where he works with individuals and couples and runs groups as well. His focus is on relationships and intimacy, the ability to be present with oneself and with others. He also is on the staff of SATTI, the Sexual Addiction Treatment, and Training Institute. He has served on the boards of National Council of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCAAD) and Jewish Alcoholic, Chemically Dependent Persons, and Significant Others (JACS). Additionally, Gary is an ordained rabbi who has worked and lectured in the Jewish community in Israel and North America for the past 26 years. During that time, he served as the rabbi at Hebrew University, taught in synagogues and Jewish Day Schools in North America, ran summer camps, and started several schools.
