Israeli politician who currently serves as Minister of Tourism, Liaising Minister between the Government and the Knesset and is a lawyer by profession.His godfather at his circumcision was Menachem Begin.
Levin’s public activity began in the students’ cell of the Likud at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 1997 he was head of the team that set up the Likud branch in Modi’in, and in 2003 he was elected chairman of the branch.
In the elections for the 18th Knesset entered the Knesset. On August 3, 2009 he was chosen to head the House Committee. In addition to his public activities in Likud, Levin took part in establishing the New Young Lawyers Faction, which participated in the elections for the Israel Bar Association institutions for the first time in 1999.
Levin lives in Modi’in, is married to Yifat and father of three children.
