Lev was born in Moscow, Russia in 1946 and lived in Lithuania until immigrating to the USA in 1976. He wrote music for the pantomime theater in Kaunas, Lithuania as well as a musical play "A Second Chance" in collaboration with Herb Wiener ("It's My Party", 'The Great Pretender") in New York City, a children album "Bubble-bee" with Gennaro Tedesco, several songs and a polka in collaboration with Willy Tokarev, See Iron Crouton Track 2 and Track 4 on YouTube for other music. Additionally, Lev published a science fiction novel Matryoshka, a short science fiction story 'One Live to Give" in collaboration with his daughter, and several books of Internet humor (see www.lulu.com/Matryoshka); made a couple of inventions (MusiColors and Mood Reader), and created Exercises in Chaos, a method to develop music composition skills
