Julie Reines Chervinsky was born in St. Petersburg, emigrated to Israel, and then to the US. Currently, Julie is the Director of the Blavatnik Archive Foundation, she has extensive experience in project management both in corporate and nonprofit worlds, including marketing communications, website development and event production. Leading the Archive since its founding, Julie launched the Veteran Oral History Project, recording 1,200 video interviews with Jewish veterans who fought in the Soviet armed forces and partisan detachments during World War II, a chapter in Jewish history that had remained uncaptured by institutions dedicated to Holocaust Studies. Julie curated the exhibition based on the Project and brought it to multiple locations in the United States, Canada, and throughout Eastern Europe.
