Marina Rozenberg Koritny Head of The Department for the Promotion Of Aliyah- Wzo
Marina Rozenberg Koritny immigrated from Kazakhstan in 1995, and has lived in Be'er Sheva ever since, which she defines as the embodiment of the Zionist ideal. She began her professional career as an educator until she was elected head of the World Zionist Organization's Department for the Promotion of Aliyah 2015.
In 2003, she was elected as a member of the City Council of Be’er-Sheva and led the municipal committee for tourism development. It was in this successful work that Minister of Tourism Yitzhak Aharonovitch asked her to serve as an advisor in his office from 2007.
In 2008, Rozenberg Koritny was appointed head of the media relations at the Yisrael Beytenu political party and an advisor to Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman. In 2014, she became deputy Director General of the “World Yisrael Beytenu” movement.
In October 2020, at the World Zionist Congress, she was elected to a second term as head of the World Zionist Organization's Department for the Promotion of Aliyah. In this role Rozenberg Koritny works tirelessly to create and strengthen motivation for Aliyah among Jews around the world through knowledge of the Hebrew language and familiarity of Israel She achieves this by building bridges to Jewish communities, families and individuals, in ongoing activities and in special projects with strategic partners. Her motto is that Zionism is an eternal ideal.

During this special session, we will learn about management of procedures under pressure during unprecedented times we are currently in, real-time information gathering and analysis of emergency situations, identifying community needs in emergencies situations, activation of volunteers, setting up appropriate campaign during war, management and creation of networks (networking), and more.
