Meet Organizing Committee

Noam Shumakh is originally from Ukraine. She spent several years in Israel working in informal Jewish education. In Israel she was a program coordinator for the Israel Birthright Experience and served as a Jewish educator in Ta'ir, developing and leading Jewish educational workshops for Israeli high school students. Noam came to the U.S. in 2008 as an emissary for the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI). Currently Noam works at Limmud FSU as a project manager. She truly believes that Limmud FSU is the great platform for Russian Jewish communities to explore and come together for a multidimensional Jewish learning experience.
