Karina Fomicheva

Karina Fomicheva grew up in Kaliningrad, Russia. She did 3 years in Baltic State University, studying Hospitality and Tourism. Then she moved to New York at the age of 20 in 2011. She graduated from Baruch College with B.A. in Business Communications, focusing mostly on creative side of it. While in college, she was actively involved in Hillel, did numerous graphic design projects and led Baruch Organization for Soviet Students. After college, she went to Israel for 6 months, interning in Tel Aviv, as a part of Masa Program.
Now Karina works in Chronostore, jewelry company in the middle of Diamond District. Her easy-going personality and problem-solving skills made her a perfect fit in customer service. She also uses her graphic design skills to upscale branding strategies of the company.
During her leisure time, Karina likes to travel, going to the movies and learn new things. She swims every morning before work.

I do Limmud because it provides me with amazing opportunity to meet people, learn new things, participate in fun discussions, and connect with my Jewish community. It is very exciting!
